MUDIA ART is a mixture between a disk magazine, a music disk
and a slideshow. Mudia Art does not offer the usual array of
articles found in standard scene mags. We try to portray the
most active part of the scene by publishing (or republishing
to be more precise), the compositions and art work from the
sceners who contributed in any way to establish the first
roots of today's scene.

MUDIA ART was not conceived as a disk mag from day one
indeed it doesn't imply the usual structure of articles that
you might be familiar with. In this particular case you
won't find any reviews of demos, party reports or anything
of the ilk.

All those who love to lavish in self made paintings, or
please their ears with awesome tracks, will hopefully find
much amusement here. Our project is not another assemblage
of articles, rather we focus on those who were conductive to
the old scene days.

The recipe:

In every new edition you'll find a background story, an
interview and samples from the work of the contributing
musicans and graphicians. You will get to learn how the
artist joined the scene. Where and why he started, and what
he plans to do in the years to come. You'll discover some
scene legends from the past, why they have their roots in
the demo scene and how they came to work for influential
game companies.

You will read an actual interview and find some samples of
their work which has been selected by the contributing
artists themselves. A mix composed of his or her most liked
old and/or new productions.

The samples are three examples of music or five meaningful
pictures from the contributing musician or graphician.
Additional to these samples, you will also find adequate
statements from the artist himself. That's the basic
concept, our main recipe. You're invited to read the
comments and the interviews and watch the full screen
pictures while you listen to the tunes of one of our
eatured artists. Enjoy your meal!

MUDIA ART is intended as a home for old scene legends like
Audiomonster, Jester, Fairfax, Facet, but also as a
platform, a chance for upcoming artists. You're still
waiting for your breakthrough? Maybe we can help you...

As many of us have been active intermittently for 10 to 15
years, we are naturally quite interested in persons that we
know from those golden times. In case you're not into the
old school, it's probably still interesting for you to see
how these individuals were able to make a living out of
their talent.

Most Wanted:

You will also find a Most Wanted chart, which is a sort of
wish list. Tell us your most wanted legend for our upcoming
issues. Who you'd like to see here in the next issues?
Even though we can't conjure we'll try to satisfy your
wishes.

As our scene is naturally full of musicians and graphicians,
we of MUDIA ART thought, that this kind of production would
fit perfectly into this area. Here you can present your
music or graphics to the scene audience of today.
